Jatoba Bowl — 13″ Molten Ember Edition — One‑of‑One

$625.00

This handcrafted Jatoba bowl features deep ember‑red tones, molten amber glow, and a powerful sculptural presence. Individually shaped by artisan Ben Balzer, this 13″ centerpiece blends warmth, clarity, and exceptional density in one of the most dramatic Jatoba forms produced at Talking Wood Studio.

Jatoba — Dense, Glowing, and Naturally Dramatic Jatoba is prized for its rich reddish‑bronze palette and glassy chatoyance. In this Molten Ember Edition, the grain shifts from dark ember red to glowing amber as light moves across the surface — a deep, fire‑like luminance unique to Jatoba. The effect is bold, warm, and quietly luxurious.

Figure & Grain Highlights Molten ember chatoyance — deep red glow with amber highlights. Rich red‑bronze heartwood with warm undertones. Large 13.1″ diameter — commanding centerpiece scale. Tall 3.7″ profile — sculptural lift with refined proportions. Heavy 4.4 lb weight — dense, grounding presence. Smooth, tight grain — polished to a glassy finish. This bowl reads like glowing ember — warm, grounded, and richly dimensional.
