African Rosewood (Bubinga) — Dramatic, Warm, and Naturally Expressive Bubinga is prized for its bold figure, deep reddish‑brown palette, and glowing luster. This bowl displays a horizon figure pattern, where the grain climbs the outer wall in flowing movement, creating a dynamic, flame‑like presence. The effect is warm, dramatic, and unmistakably premium.

Figure & Grain Highlights Highly figured Bubinga produces bold, expressive grain movement across the surface. Warm reddish‑brown heartwood glows under changing light. The large 14.7″ diameter creates commanding centerpiece scale, while the lifted sculptural form rises visually from the table. A gently sloping curve highlights grain as it climbs the outer wall, and the substantial 3.6 lb weight gives the bowl a balanced, grounded presence. A clean, uninterrupted grain field completes the refined look.
