London Plane Bowl — 10″ Lacewood Interior Edition — One‑of‑One

$275.00

This handcrafted London Plane bowl showcases the species’ signature lacewood pattern — a shimmering, scale‑like texture that animates the entire interior surface. Individually shaped by artisan Ben Balzer, this 10″ piece blends warm tone, textured figure, and refined proportions in one of the most expressive small‑scale London Plane forms produced at Talking Wood Studio.

London Plane (American Lacewood) — Textured, Warm, and Naturally Expressive London Plane is prized for its lace‑like flecking — a pattern created when medullary rays intersect the surface at just the right angle. In this Lacewood Interior Edition, the flecking forms a shimmering mosaic that shifts beautifully under natural or ambient light. The effect is warm, textured, and quietly luxurious.

Figure & Grain Highlights True lacewood figure — intricate, scale‑like flecking across the entire interior. Warm natural palette — soft tans and browns with subtle depth. Compact 10.4″ diameter — ideal for shelves, desks, and curated displays. Smooth sculptural form — refined curves that enhance grain visibility. 1.6 lb weight — light, balanced, and easy to place anywhere. Clean, uninterrupted interior field — perfect for showcasing flecking. This bowl reads like a warm, textured mosaic — subtle, expressive, and quietly luxurious.

Artisan Craftsmanship Every Talking Wood Studio bowl is shaped one at a time by artisan Ben Balzer.
