Black Walnut 11”

This rare Black Walnut bowl has a fantastic disruption in its near perfect grain pattern it heartwood that appears to be a ridge right down the center of the bowl heading toward the sapwood .  If one turns the bowl on edge, its looks like a fissure in the earth heading vertically to the surface where the sapwood starts. I was able to center this anomaly on the inner surface of the bowl for maximum visual enjoyment.  This bowl belongs in a prominent place in your home or office.
