Black Walnut Bowl — 5″ — Striped Glow Mini Edition — One‑of‑One

$125.00

This handcrafted Black Walnut bowl features tight striped grain, warm chocolate‑brown tones, and bright natural highlights that create a glowing visual effect. Individually shaped by artisan Ben Balzer, this compact 5″ piece offers refined detail, balanced proportions, and a luminous grain pattern that stands out beautifully at a miniature scale.

Black Walnut — Warm, Bright, and Naturally Expressive Black Walnut is prized for its rich chocolate‑brown color, smooth grain, and warm natural highlights. In this Striped Glow Mini Edition, the grain presents as fine, linear striping that gives the bowl a radiant, banded appearance, with soft transitions that brighten under changing light.

Figure & Grain Highlights Striped Glow grain creates a natural sense of motion and brightness. Tight grain alignment enhances detail at this compact scale. Warm espresso tones blend with soft amber highlights. The 3.1″ height gives the bowl a surprisingly strong sculptural profile, and the lightweight 0.6 lb form makes it ideal for display or everyday use. Despite its size, this bowl carries the same heirloom craftsmanship as your larger walnut pieces.

Artisan Craftsmanship Every Talking Wood Studio bowl is shaped one at a time by artisan Ben Balzer. This piece was refined through progressive hand sanding, cured oils, and the full Beall Buffing System, resulting in a glass‑smooth surface that highlights the natural warmth and contrast of Black Walnut. No mass production. No duplicates. No second editions.
