Aformosia — Golden, Calm, and Naturally Refined Aformosia is prized for its teak‑like straight grain, warm golden palette, and fine, stable texture. This bowl displays a golden grain pattern, where the wood’s natural luster deepens under light, creating a warm, burnished glow. The effect is calm, elegant, and unmistakably premium.

Grain & Surface Highlights Golden straight grain produces warm, even tone with natural luster. Calm, teak‑like clarity gives the bowl refined consistency. The large 16.7″ diameter creates commanding centerpiece scale, while the shallow, elegant profile feels wide, balanced, and serene. The 4.0 lb weight provides substantial presence, and the fine texture offers a smooth, understated surface character. This bowl reads like quiet luxury — warm, golden, and architecturally clean.

Artisan Craftsmanship Every Talking Wood Studio bowl is shaped one at a time by artisan Ben Balzer. This piece was refined through progressive hand sanding, cured oils, and the full Beall Buffing System, resulting in a smooth, glowing surface that highlights the natural warmth of Aformosia.
